The Medinan period of the Prophetic Biography (Seerah) takes us into the life of the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) starting from the Great Migration (Hijrah) to Madina, including his 10-year residency there, until his passing and a brief account of what occurred in the 30 year reign of the Four Righteous Caliphs afterward. Each lesson will look at a specific period of time, and the events and episodes which took place during those times, and what lessons a Muslim can take from those incidents to benefit their faith, practice and interaction with others.

Beginner’s Seeker
If you are a Beginner’s Seeker, then Fiqh of Life: Essentials of Halal and Haram is perfect for you. Taught by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani, students will learn about the limits of Allah related to everyday life, and will get answers to a variety of critical life questions on food, dress, gender interaction, work, earnings, relations, speech, and the avoidance of sin. Student will also gain an understanding and appreciation of the wisdom of the Shariah related to the halal and haram, and the way of Prophetic excellence in everyday conduct. Beginner’s Seekers may also be interested in Absolute Essentials of Islam: Beliefs & Worship.. Habib Umar bin Hafiz, may Allah subhana wa ta’ala elevate and protect him, began a weekly class on tazkiya (purification). The class began with the reading of “Red Sulfur and the Greatest Elixir,” (al-Kibrit al-Ahmar wa ‘l-Iksir al-Akbar) by Habib ‘Abdullah bin Abu Bakr al-’Aydarus.
