I have a solution to the moonsighting Issue. It takes Hadiths and Astronomical calcultaions at the same time along with ONE nation concept .
The IMAMS are NOT scientists. The Scientists are not islamic scholars or Imams. I being a scientist
and Islamic scholar , I can show how to NOT disregard Hadiths and science of astronomy.
If interested , let me send you the article.

Wa'alaykumsalam Sidi Alim and Sidi Zakariyya,

Alim, I was looking all over Toronto for you! And I kept mentioning to Su that I NEEDED to see you. I really miss you...

Zakariyya, unfortunately, I had to either work or was in a meeting when Mufti Muhammad was speaking. I did pop my head in every now and then though. My friends did mention that they enjoyed his lectures and while standing with Shaykh Hamza or Imam Zaid, I did notice that several members of the audience approached the Mufti to ask questions. Hopefully, next time, insha'Allah.
