Shaykh Hamza and Imam Zaid invited to Obama’s National Prayer Service

Both Shaykh Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zaid Shakir have been invited to the National Prayer Service for the inauguration of the new president, Barack Hussein Obama.

Additionally, they have been invited to be speakers at the Muslim Inauguration Celebration. This event is a joint sponsorship of the Washington Academic Leadership Institute and the Muslim Social Network. The Honorary Host Organization is the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association.
