Imam Zaid Shakir, returned to the Bay Area on the weekend of May 10, 2009. During his visit, he graced the halls of the Ta’leef Collective. Imam Zaid was the keynote speaker for the night. He captivated the audience with an inspirational lecture that reminded us of the work and struggle we need to put into our religion, our lives and our communities.
